Sunday brings Goodwood’s family raceday, in association with the NSPCC, providing visitors with an opportunity to learn all about horse racing.
The seven-race card begins at 1.50pm with the Sunday School Maiden Stakes and continues until 5.10pm and the NSPCC Charity Raceday Stakes. See tips below.

You can meet a racehorse to appreciate their size and power, visit the race start as the runners burst from the stalls (as seen in our video, above), watch farrier demonstrations and quiz a vet.
Race-goers can have a go at riding a finish on a mechanical horse. And if anyone still has the energy, there is even a free fairground to enjoy.
Tickets are still available – call 01243 755055, see www.goodwood.com - or you can pay on the day.
