Tom again leads Harriers home
A total of 11 Harriers joined the field of almost 2,000 to take on what was an almost flat course in perfect running conditions.
That meant there were personal bests galore for the Harriers and once again Tom Mullen was the leading Harrier. He was in fine form taking 84th place in a PB of 35:40 (chip).

Stuart Austin finished in 42:41 (chip) and Dave Kirby 43:47 (chip), while William Davies produced a massively improved PB of 56:43.
Peter Cobbett, despite a tricky start and a delay, managed a creditable 55:30 (chip).
The Harriers ladies were led by Amanda Soper, who clocked 47:05 (chip), followed by Michelle Pearce 53:22 (chip) and Penny Rea in 59:19 (chip).

Further afield, two Harriers took part in the Glasgow Parkrun held in the very scenic Pollak Park, complete with highland cattle grazing.
Due to very icy tarmac paths in the park, organisers re-routed the run to be totally on grass but also involving crossing tricky icy marshland.
Among the 227 runners were Alan Thomas, who came 47th in 23.39, and Margaret Hollamby, an excellent fourth lady and 53rd overall in 23.50.
