Tilley trying to reduce his time for Ironman World Championships in Hawaii
Held over a massive distance which is four times the length of the Olympic version of the event, Brian is planning to complete the race in under 10 hours.
The course consists of an incredibly demanding 3.km swim, a 180 km bike race and end up with running a full 26 mile marathon.

Hide AdBrian, 39, from Maidenbower, qualified for this year’s event by finishing sixth at the UK Championships at Bolton with a time of 10h 15mins.
Tilley also took part in the World Championships Grand Final that was held in Hyde Park in London a week ago which was the Olympic distance triathlon (1.5k swim, 40k bike and 10k run) and managed a fantastic time time of 1h 54m 39s which placed him 16th in his category, 139th overall out of the 2000 who entered.
Brian is a member of the Crawley Tri Club based at K2 and on Sunday helped organise the Crawley Triathlon held on Sunday which was a fun event completed by 250 triathletes.
