Now Wade strikes silver in the AAAs
He did so with his first 100metres medal in a AAAs championship when he took silver in the Under-20s at Bedford in the trials for Beijing.
This follows the 19-year-old Belgrave Harrier's four previous fifth places in the previous four years at the AAAs and further substantiates the feeling that Worthing's youth are ready to help lead the nation's young athletes. He has already been the 2003 European Youth 100m and 200m champion.
