Nifty Nyewood netballers never give up - here's proof

The team had already won the Felpham and Bognor area games which put them through to this county tournament against other winning schools.
The standard of netball was much higher and the children worked very well as a team. They were very excited and thoroughly enjoyed the tournament, winning every game they played. They now go on to a wider competition in Crawley.

Hide AdKim Conrad, Year 6 leader and class teacher, said: “I am particularly proud of this achievement as they are the first team from our school to even win the Felpham and Bognor locality let alone the level two games too!
“They have been training after school with me for the past two years, resulting in them now playing some great netball. This is a fantastic achievement for our pupils and I am very proud to be a part of the children’s success.
“It is a credit to their hard work and passion for the sport that I hope continues at secondary school.”
Elliot Scott-Ragless, who is in the team, said: “It was fun to participate and it was really exciting.”

Hide AdPlayer Caitlin West said: “The other teams played really well and it was a tough competition. If it wasn’t for Miss Conrad we wouldn’t have won.”
Olivia Pinchbeck added: “We really enjoyed the tournament and cannot wait to go to Crawley!”
The team comprised Olivia Pinchbeck, Caitlin West, Elliot Scott-Ragless, Billy Bicknell, Nikklyn Luciano, Lauren Miles, Ella Radwell and Poppy Wallis.
