At times Sidley were rampant, particularly in the first half of a contest switched to Sidley because of the poor state of the Arundel pitch. Blues struck four times in a devastating 26-minute spell to all but clinch a place in the semi-finals. But it was Mullets who opened the scoring, with Pete Ansley finishing off a neat pull-back from Jason Wimbleton after just 10 minutes. Sidley didn't have to wait long to get on the scoresheet. Three minutes later, Russell Eldridge hit the target with a low free-kick which went in off the inside of the post. More details in Littlehampton Gazette on February 13.
