United recruitment drive continues
New boys Josh Jirbandey, Tom O’Connor, Josh Oyinsan and Frankie Sawyer all played a part in the 2-1 victory at home to Walton & Hersham on Monday night.
White said: “There’s a possibility that more are going to come. I’ve put a seven-day letter in for a midfield player in our league with an extremely good goalscoring record. I just think we need a bit more threat offensively.

“I’m absolutely delighted with the signings. There’s a nice bit of competition for places and it’s good to know that we’ve got some decent cover all around the pitch, but people have got to understand it’s going to take me a little while.”
White added that Sawyer will come strongly into contention for a starting place if the trip to Sittingbourne on Saturday beats the weather. He also said that he’s reluctant to give O’Connor, 17, too many games in quick succession and that Sean Kelly is having a little bit of trouble with his hip.
Fourth-placed United are due to visit fifth-placed Folkestone Invicta in Ryman Division One South on Tuesday night.
