Super-sub Wilson sends East Preston to victory over Midhurst
Wilson, on his third appearance for EP, bundled the ball home from three yards on 79 minutes after Midhurst keeper Paul Williamson, formerly of EP, had saved Matt Windsor’s header from Jerry Manning’s corner.
Midhurst had led 1-0 at half-time through a 40th-minute strike from Michael Hatch but EP changed formation from 4-4-2 to 3-5-2 for the second half when they also brought on Danny Hand, who has signed from Worthing United, for his debut.
