The former Portsmouth striker teamed up with Yems as his assistant at The People’s Pension Stadium just over year ago after Gabrielle Cioffi left the club.
And the pair have formed a good and well-respected partnership as have looked to take the Reds up the League Two table and have lead them to the third round of the FA Cup where they will face Leeds United in January.

For anyone who has seen Yems in his post-match interviews or have interviewed, they will know he is honest and can sometimes seem confrontational.
But Bradbury could not be happier to work with the experienced Yems.
He said: “He’s great. There’s not many people like Yemsy around anymore.

Hide Ad“And that’s not saying he’s a dinosaur because he is not. He is very forward-thinking in the way he approaches things.
“He’s got character, and characters are going out of the game.
“People think there aren’t allowed any characters in the game any more.
“You have got to sit on the fence with your opinions and John doesn’t do that and that’s refreshing for me.”
