Oak are too mighty for meek Midhurst
The small contingent of Midhurst supporters who made the trip were puzzled by the poor performance.
Manager Trevor Waller had to juggle with the non-availability of several key players and had to use some players out of position.

Hide AdOn 15 minutes a free-kick to Midhurst was taken by Rob Brown, but his chip went over the bar.
Midhurst forward Ollie Rowland was injured and he was missed, while Mile Oak were well served by their midfield of Arran Ranson, Matt Stevens and Lloyd Skinner.
Midhurst came out for the second half with more enthusiasm. Another free kick just outside the penalty area was put well over the bar.
On 50 minutes Mile Oak took the lead as Tony Burnett converted a corner.

Hide AdYoung Oliver Pearce was brought on for Midhurst in place of Andrew Newton.
The referee awarded Mile Oak a penalty, which was hotly disputed by Midhurst.
It was well saved by keeper Paul ‘Willo’ Williamson, but a Mile Oak player was quicker to the clearance and netted.
Mile Oak added a third before the end to round off a forgettable day for the Stags.
On Saturday Midhurst visit Oakwood (3pm) in the RUR Cup.
