Little Common boss says season disruption was 'inevitable'
Eldridge was reacting to the news all non-elite football was to be curtailed for 28 days as the country goes into a second lockdown.
And Eldridge was not surprised this has happened and understands why it has - and also believes it could go on longer than the end of November.

Hide AdHe said: "I think it was inevitable that we wouldn’t complete the season without any disruption considering the pandemic we are in, naturally we are disappointed that we won’t be able to play any football but understand the reasons why the season has been paused.
"Personally I would be surprised if there was any football played before the new year, once lockdown is ended teams are going to need a couple of weeks of training to prepare and can’t be expected to resume immediately.
"I know the group will look after themselves and do the relevant exercise to keep them ticking over.
"The enforced break will give the group a chance to recuperate and overall the group have performed well but we know the standards we set and what we want to achieve. We’ve had quite a few injuries recently so hopefully these boys will be back when we return to action."
