Faygate Youth made to work hard to claim three points against Crawley United

Despite having most of the possession throughout the match Faygate struggled to break down their opponents whose only threat was on the counter as Phillip Tatum’s opener was cancelled out by a quick break away as scores were levelled going into the break.
A change of formation at half time helped the hosts and Bailey Shorey’s powerful header from a Liam Armstrong corner (see pic) restored Faygate’s advantage.

Hide AdAs the second half progressed Faygate improved with Tatum adding a fine second half hat-trick and Shorey completing the score with another well placed header, again from a corner.
Supported by Oli Cowdrey team mate Lex Cornish was brilliant in the Faygate defence with a man of the match display.
