New Crawley Town director Matt Turner aiming to increase gates
Having grown up in the town he is in the thick of business and feels he can make changes in the right direction to help the Reds.
He said: “I’m heavily involved in the local business community. The football club plays a big part in the wider community. I have lots of local contacts and would like to know how we can improve the match day experience and really get the gates up.

Hide Ad“There are still a proportion of people who think Crawley Town are Non-League and cannot believe we are anywhere near being in the same league as Brighton such is our rapid rise.”
Turner said: “I call fans to bring your friends and give them the opportunity to see what is here.
“This is the only way to compete with the larger clubs.
“I want to engage actively with the fans and want to make it a positive experience. I would like the fans to get behind the club and get behind the team.”
Former Hazelwick pupil Turner, 30, runs two successful businesses based on Manor Royal in Crawley.

Hide AdCreative Pod, an award winning design marketing and print agency who are also the back of shirt sponsors for the club, and Young Start-up Talent, a community based entrepreneurial initiative that inspires 16-25-year-olds to start their first business which offers a £50k prize fund.

Matt’s first experience with the club was age 10 when he used to watch the Red Devils at Town Mead.
It means a lot for Matt to join the board.
