Crawley Town sign striker Gavin Tomlin
Kent-born Gavin, who is 30-years-old, served his apprenticeship in non-league football, notably with Staines Town where he spent three years, before getting his break in League football in 2006.
Since then he has played for Yeovil, Dagenham & Redbridge, Torquay United, home town club Gillingham and Southend, where he scored 16 goals in the 2012-13 campaign.

Hide AdGavin is John Gregory’s sixth summer signing and the manager is delighted to have landed a player he has regarded highly for a long time.
John, speaking from Brazil where he is on holiday, said: “I’m delighted to get this one over the line. I have always admired Gavin. He is a striker first and foremost with a good goalscoring record during his career but he can also play in midfield or out wide.
“He’s two-footed and has got a terrific attitude. Everyone who I spoke to about him was very complementary about him as a professional and a person. He’s going to play a big part for us next season. A lot of clubs were keen on him but he’s coming to us and I am very happy about that.”
Gavin will wear squad number 21.
