Broadbridge Heath 2-0 Uckfield: Revenge for Heath
Uckfield are the last team to beat Broadbridge Heath in a league match when they won in September, a game manager Steve Painter described at the time as ‘the worse team performance’ of his management career.
Heath have now gone 15 league games unbeaten, scoring 54 goals in the process and conceding only four.
Heath took an early lead after just 12 minutes.

Hide AdSaz Bidgood advanced into the penalty area and skipped past a couple of challenges before a mistimed tackle upended the Heath midfielder. Tiago Andrade stepped up and slotted past keeper Tom Betts.
Andrade should have made it 2-0 just a few minutes before the break but Betts saw the danger and came running off his line to pounce on the ball.
Jake Holmes, still working his way back to full fitness, was introduced from the bench and the Heath leading scorer had two great chances to extend his teams lead, his first effort was deflected into the side netting and his second headed just wide.
In time added on Michael Wood finally scored Heath’s second when he ran through on goal, took the ball around the keeper and scored from an acute angle.
Heath: Fisher, Etherington, Chester (Flack 65), Day, Howard, Bidgood, McDermott, Waddingham, Andrade (Holmes 75), Purkis, Sultan (Wood 82).
