Graham Potter’s men will be hoping to bounce back as quickly as possible against West Brom on Saturday afternoon, however, and should fancy their chances against a side who haven’t won a match in the Premier League since they beat Wolves on January 16th.
Three points could do wonders for the Seagulls’ survival hopes too, and a victory could take Albion seven points clear of danger.
In terms of the options at Potter’s disposal, the Brighton boss gave a promising update on full-back Tariq Lamptey in his press conference on Thursday, suggesting that the youngster could be fit enough to return to the bench.
Adam Webster is still out, but the Albion manager suggested that he has no new injuries concerns to contend with.
