Andronikou convinced on player compromise
Mr Andronikou, whose firm UHY Hacker Young represents creditors Convers Sports Initiatives (CSI), the club’s former parent company, spoke out after present administrator Trevor Birch said Pompey will be wound up on August 10 unless deals can be reached with the players in question.
He revealed parties are within £250,000 of reaching an agreement with defender Tal Ben Haim, while boss Michael Appleton has been involved in player deals.

‘As far as the Ben Haim situation, I understand both sides are within £250,000 of agreeing an amicable solution, so I really cannot believe that a sensible solution cannot be delivered here.
‘Liquidation doesn’t have to happen.’
