Hide AdDefender Des Guile was late for kick off, as EP knew he would be, and he replaced White's son, Simon, who was helping EP out for the game, after half an hour. It ended up being a double substitution, though, with another EP debutant, Byron Harrison, leaving the field on a stretcher.
With Ryman League side Worthing not having a game, White had brought in Rebels' Steve Metcalf and Harrison. Harrison damaged ankle ligaments and his strike-partner, Dan White, went off at half-time after sustaining a hamstring injury.
