Bowls bows out of Beach House Park
That is when the Worthing bowling greens will hold their final match of the championships after nearly 40 years of hosting them.
Thousands of people have enjoyed watching and playing at the very top level of the sport in the town since 1974, but the event will close here for the very last time on Sunday, ahead of a move to Leamington Spa from 2014.

Hide AdIt is a sad blow for Worthing, who have enjoyed hosting the event, and also for Bowls England chief executive Tony Allcock.
He said: “It will be a massive change of course, and heart-wrenching for us.
“I was here 40 years ago and I do not know how many national titles I have seen played for over the years, so it will be a very sad day of this championship for myself.”
The final event of the championship is the Tony Allcock Cup final which takes place on Sunday.
