Woman robbed in Hastings street

At 8.45pm on Saturday, January 9, the 22-year old local woman was walking home along Whitefriars Road, Hastings, when she was approached by the two men.
They pushed her to the ground and then took her phone and a bag containing some alcohol before walking off towards St George’s Road.

Hide AdThe woman sustained bruising to her face and was badly shaken.
Both suspects were in their early 20s and about 6’ tall.
One was described as white, with mousey blond short hair and was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms.
The other man was described as being of mixed race, with dark hair and dark slight facial hair, and dark eyes.
He was wearing a dark hooded jumper.
In a statement released today (Friday, January 29) PC Chloe Barden said: “This was a nasty attack.
