Web kindles new chapter for Rustington’s Barbara
After years of struggling to get her books published in print, Barbara Bothwell, at the age of 74, turned to the world of cyberspace to see if she could turn her luck around.
And what a decision it proved to be. More than 18 months later, and six books down the line, Barbara, of Woodlands Avenue, has already sold hundreds of copies of her e-books to people across the world.

“I’m writing my seventh book at the moment – the third in my Cleo Marjoribanks series,” she said. “I try to do a couple of hundred words a day, at the very least, but sometimes I will do a couple of thousand.”
Barbara’s books range from murder mysteries and thrillers to romances in Miami.
She added: “I had spent more years than I care to remember trying to get my books published. It was always positive feedback, but the economic climate just hindered my efforts.
