Village’s support for victim of Paris terror attacks
Jack McNiven, a former pupil at Cranleigh School, was shot after gunmen launched a series of terrorist attacks across the French Capital on Friday (November 13).
At least 129 people were killed and hundreds more were injured in the attacks.

Hide AdIt was reported Mr McNiven was shot in the shoulder whilst he was out for a drink with a friend in La Carillon bar.
A spokesman for the council said: “The Parish Council is deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic events that unfolded in Paris last Friday evening.
“Sincere get well wishes are extended to former Cranleigh School pupil, Jack McNiven, who was shot in the Paris attacks.
“Our thoughts are with the families and friends of the victims, with those who have been affected by this terrible event and with the people of France.”
Mr McNiven’s family said he was recovering well.
