Victims of flooding can still get some relief
Residents or businesses affected by storm damage and flooding between December 1, 2013, and March 31, could be eligible for a one-off payment of up to £5,000 – but people must register their interest for the support before the deadline of Friday, May 2.
By filling out an eform on Arun’s website, victims could claim for a discount of up to three months of council tax payments or up to three months rate relief up to the value of £5,000.

“I repeat my call for all residents and businesses affected by the recent floods to register their interest online by Friday, May 2, by filling in the simple eform on the Arun District Council website.
“Our aim is to help, advise and support during the whole process and to inform on the next stage as quickly as possible, within a couple of weeks of May 2 deadline.”
