'˜Used nappies' among rubbish dumped on busy road
Hamish Neathercoat recently filled five large bin liners with rubbish including glass bottles, beer cans, fast food containers and used nappies dumped in Horsemere Green Lane in Climping.
Mr Neathercoat tidied the road after the front wheel of his motorbike ran over a beer can and he almost ‘came off’. But the next day, the rubbish began to reappear.

He added: “Many people just think it is acceptable to open the car window and throw their rubbish out with all the other rubbish.
“Maybe it is time to dig a hole, build a hide and catch someone at it! I believe the fine is up to £1000.”
An Arun District Council spokesman said it is ‘closely monitoring’ all flytipping reports and ‘working hard to clear sites as soon as possible’.
