Two taken to hospital following Pulborough fire

Just before 6am yesterday, crews from Billingshurst were called to a fire at a property in Pulborough with support from Petworth and Arundel fire stations.
Two people were treated with first aid before being take to hospital.

Hide AdA spokesman for Billingshurst Fire Station said: "On Friday 0558 we were called to a domestic dwelling Fire in Pulborough. On arrival, crews were faced with smoke issuing from the ground floor.
"Firefighters in BA entered the property with a hose reel and rescued two occupants. The fire was extinguished and property ventilated.
"Paramedics and @airambulancekss then administrated First Aid before they were both taken to hospital. We would like to thank @45Petworth and @46Arundel for all your hard work and professionalism."
The South East Coast Ambulance Service and West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for further comment.
