Sussex rail delays to continue into rush hour
There has been major disruption on every line in the Southern network since this morning’s rush hour.
An update on the Southern website said: “Problems with the conductor rail between Wandsworth Common and Clapham Junction have caused damage to a number of trains. Engineers are working to move the trains. Once they have moved repairs will be made to the damaged conductor rail and this may take up to three hours. Because of the severity of the problem, trains are likely to be disrupted until the end of the day.
