Transport service to expand to new villages next month
For the past 10 years Battle Area Community Transport has been running to help and support rural communities around the Battle area.
The charity, which is run on council grants and donations, serves the transport needs of the people of rural Rother, from the Battle area in the south to the Ticehurst and Burwash areas in the north.

This follows an approach by members of Brede Parish Council, who were keen to see the service extended into their area.
A new service, which will take in all these villages, will start on October 7.
The route will run every Monday.
Battle Area Community Transport will have a stall in the foyer of Sainsbury’s supermarket in Sedlescombe Road North, Hastings, tomorrow (Saturday) to advertise the new route.
