Bomb disposal called to report of grenade found in Haywards Heath

Police were called to Bentswood Road around 10pm.
A resident reported that he had found what appeared to be a Second World War grenade in his back garden.
Police officers sent photos to bomb disposal experts, who suspected it was a Mills bomb hand grenade and sent a bomb disposal unit.
