St Richard's pupils enjoy Moroccan adventure
This was an incredible experience for all involved says the school.
The pupils spoke about the amazing feeling of being high in the Atlas Mountains surrounded by the majestic peaks and the sounds of rivers, goat herders, flocks of Chuff’s and the occasional cry of a Mule. They spent their nights under the stars in canvas and their days trekking up to 4,167m to enjoy stunning views down the Atlas range on the other side.

Mr Harwood, the teacher who organised the trip, said he was incredibly proud of every single pupil’s achievement on the expedition.
Pupil Lydia Burton said: “Morocco was an eye-opening and amazing experience. I had such a great time and made memories that will stay with me forever.”
Angus Morgan commented: “I enjoyed the physical challenges, particularly the trekking but it was also really interesting to see different ways of life, like the farming techniques used in the mountain area, especially the irrigation systems.”

However, it turned out to be the best experience of my life, especially climbing Mount Toubkal. Overall, the best thing about the trip was spending time with everyone in the team and making so many memories with friends I won’t forget.”
