Shoreham Airshow 2012: Day one preview
Highlights at this year’s airshow, celebrating 100 years of the RAF Central Flying School, will include the Vulcan, a Tucano T1 with special diamond jubilee livery and an RAF Hawk T1.
Assistant airshow press officer Geoff Lee said they were “honoured” to be welcoming two Tornados from 15 Reserve Squadron at RAF Lossiemouth, particularly given the loss of three crew members earlier this year.

Hide AdShoreham Airshow is organised entirely by volunteers to raise money for the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA). This year, volunteers are expecting to welcome more than 40,000 people over the two days.
In addition to flying and static displays, there will be more than 70 trade and charity stalls on the ground and attractions for children, including a circus workshop and flight simulators.
A reporter and photographer from the Herald and Gazette will be at the airshow today so check back later for a report on all the day’s events.
There will also be a picture special in next week’s papers.
