Rother leader Cllr Carl Maynard says in a third response over waste to the same questioner that his Ask The Leader slot on the www.rother.gov.uk website is not intended as an "ongoing dialogue with individuals."
The questioner said: "Thanks for your reply to questions 442 and 431.

"Several friends and relatives in different parts of the town confirm this problem occurs all the way down their roads.
"Today is Saturday and there is still one wheelie bin in the middle of the pavement down the road from me its been there since Wednesday.
"It should not be difficult for you to insist each bin is returned to where it was taken from at EVERY property not just the properties in my road, that's the job, Leader - providing a service to all taxpayers, not just the ones that complain, the service provided is not good at the moment is it?

The leader says: "Whilst I thank you for your latest question, I believe I have already answered the points you have raised and this issue will be taken up by the council's officers with our contractors.
"I would also remind you and others that it is not intended that the Ask the Leader facility should turn into an ongoing dialogue with individuals.
"It may also be that in some instances a personal response to an individual would be more appropriate. This can however only be achieved if an e-mail address is provided. If this is not the case then in some instances I may choose not to publish a question on the grounds that it has already been substantially answered."
