Robertsbridge Bonfire Auction: is this evening Friday 27th May at Robertsbridge Club. This is one of the bigger fundraisers for the society so if you haven't got plans tonight why not go along and support. Registration starts at 7pm with the Auction starting around 7.30pm.

Auctioneers this year are Neil Shuttleworth and Pippa Deeley (as seen on TV). There are many lots from fruit trees, hanging basket, promises of, gardening, singing lesson, meals for 2, beauty treatments, flowers, prints, and more up to a ride in a Ferrari, a case of wine, beautiful jewellery, tea for 2, a Polypin of Harvey’s, a weekend stay for 2 over bonfire weekend at `The Dairy` in Robertsbridge, and of course the Honour of Lighting this years Robertsbridge Bonfire. There are so many more lots too, so something for everyone and everyone’s pocket. It is a great night so go along and have a fantastic night.

St Mary’s Salehurst: services this week Sunday May 29th Trinity 1 start with Holy Communion at 9am at the Mission Room in Fair Lane and then at Salehurst at 11am Matins.

There was a good turnout last week for the Afternoon Tea Time service. Several new faces and some great new songs to learn. Thanks to all those that helped to organise the afternoon, brought friends along or provided the cakes . The next service is on Sunday June 26th, put it in your diary.

Age Concern: there will be no meeting this week on Monday due to the Bank Holiday. Meetings will resume on Monday 6th June at Robertsbridge Hall at 10.30am

Open House with Huw Merriman M.P: on Thursday 2nd June at The Ostrich in Station Road at 8pm. Go along to chat to Huw about National and Local issues. Possible topics for the evening will be EU Referendum, Rother Valley Railway, Future Housing Developments, Schools, A21, Immigration, local banks and shops, in fact anything else you may want to discuss. RobArt Exhibition: is between 4th June until 12th and is being held at the Stade Hall in Hastings. This is to take the talents of five of our village artists to a wider audience. The artists led by Roger Hill are Paul Pitman, Frances Bristow, Gary Brinklow and Martin Brockman. The exhibition will run from 10am until 5pm each day. RobArt have been supported by the Robertsbridge Enterprise Group to put on this showcase of the art that makes our village so special. Admission is free, but a collection is being made for the RNLI. This is a great opportunity to be proud of our village so why not pop along and have a morning or afternoon browsing some of the talents that Robertsbridge holds.
