WI: Our February meeting welcomed Ian Everest who talked to us about the Woman’s Land Army in Sussex. We next meet on Tuesday March 5 in the village hall at 7.30pm. BRIDGE CLUB: At its meeting on Wednesday, February 20, the result of the duplicate pairs played was: 1, Frank Hibbert and Alan Disney; 2, Hazel North and Hugh Bailey; 3, Barrie Smith and Alan Grindley. Hide AdHORTICULTURAL SOCIETY: The recent horticultural themed talk and demonstration was well attended. Now our attention turns to the forthcoming spring show and coach outings. DRAMATIC SOCIETY: Are excited to announce their preparations for the magical pantomime, Cinderella. Fancy joining in the fun on stage or backstage, then join us for the script read through on Wednesday March 27, open auditions Wednesday April 3. Venue: Rogers Room, Ringmer Village Hall at 7.30pm. The characters, which of course need little introduction, include Fairy Godmother, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Dandini, Buttons, Wicked Step Mother, The Ugly Sisters, Royal Pages, A Cat named Chablis and many many smaller roles.
