Police warning after spate of house break-ins
A property in North Trade Road in Battle was broken into between Monday May 7 and Saturday May 19 whilst the occupants were on holiday.
The conservatory door was jemmied and smashed in the raid, but nothing was taken.

Hide AdMeanwhile several thousand pounds worth of jewellery and cash was stolen from a property in Pashley Road, Ticehurst.
The break in happened whilst the property was unoccupied between May 12 and 19.
Other recent burglaries have been reported in Westfield, Northiam and Playden.
Police are not formally linking any of the break ins at this time.

Hide AdBattle police are reminding residents to look after their valuables.
PC Jayne Cleverley said: “Never leave spare keys outside or close to doors or windows, thieves know all of the usual hiding places such as under plant pots and mats.
“Do not advertise your valuables, keep them out of sight and security mark them.
“We regularly conduct security marking events as part of Operation Marker.
“We rely on you to report suspicious behaviour.”
