Hide AdOn Monday May 19 the Village Choir will meet again at 7:30pm in Pett Methodist Chapel.
POPP on Tuesday May 20 will feature Annie Cryer with Tai Chi and Antonella Bruce will also be on hand to provide Head and Shoulder Massage. The session runs from 10:30am to 2:30pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.
Also on Tuesday May 20 Pett Parish Council will meet in Pett Village Hall at 7:30pm.
Pett Level Preservation Trust is holding a photographic competition this summer. So get out your cameras or phones and take a picture on Pett Level under the title ‘Time and Tide”.

Hide AdEntry forms and competition rules can be collected from The New Beach Club on Pett Level. Photos should be no bigger than A4 and must be delivered to The New Beach Club by noon on July 5, with the completed entry form and payment of £5 per photo for over 18’s and £1 per photo for under 18’s.
All entries will be exhibited in The New beach Club on the weekend of August 9 and the winner will be announced on August 13. There is a first prize of a £100 voucher from Marriot’s Photo Stores in Hastings and the winner in the under 18 category will receive a canvas print of their photo. A Rogation Walk has been arranged for Sunday May 25. Groups of folk will walk from one of three starting points to the parish boundary stone by Pett Village Hall. Here there will be a short service (at 4pm) before everyone moves to the Methodist Hall for some refreshment before they make their way home.
The three routes to the Village Hall will be:
From St Nicholas Church, Pett Level – starting at 3pm and walking across the fields as much as possible.

At the Parish Boundary stone there may even be Beat the Bounds.
