Superhero pals walk from pier to pier to help local dad Sean Foley who was left paralysed after freak accident

Jimmy Jewell, who will be walking with friends Grant Huggair, Gary Costin and Ritchie Smith, said: “I have known Sean for a few years now and he is one of the nicest people you could wish to meet.
“We are walking in superhero costumes because to his wife children and family he is a superhero! We will be pushing a wheelbarrow as well, as Sean was a builder by trade.”

Hide AdSean, aged 59, was left paralysed after a tragic accident while he was playing with his family, partner Daniella and his two daughters on a trampoline.
Grant Huggair said:“Sean is currently in Stoke Mandeville Hospital. His family is hoping to get him home soon but their home will need adaptations and he needs ongoing physiotherapy.”
Family and friends are raising money so Sean can have private physiotherapy.
Due to the pandemic Sean is only receiving four hours of physio a week instead of the two to four hours a day that he needs. Daniella said: “Sean is really hoping to get home for Christmas.

Hide AdThe friends set off from Hastings Pier at 9am on Boxing Day and will be collecting along the route.
