A covid memorial in Eastbourne, which was vandalised five days after its unveiling, has been restored.
The Tree of Reflection was unveiled in Elm Grove Park at the rear of Park Practice in Broadwater Way on Saturday, June 18, before being found vandalised on Thursday, June 23.
Eastbourne Borough Council (EBC) had expressed its ‘utter disgust’ with the vandalism and said it would do everything possible to reinstate the memorial and repair the damage.
