Claire Singleton managed to take these pictures around Chanctonbury Ring while walking her dog at around 9.30am this morning. She said she saw a light dusting on the ground at Worthing Crematorium, so headed off to Chanctonbury which she was sure would have snow. Even around that time visibility was very poor, she said, as she walked up to the dew pond at Chanctonbury already surrounded by snow. It started drizzling, she said, and by the time she got back to the car park at around 11am it had melted significantly. Just a few miles down the road in Worthing and along the seafront, residents were completely untouched by the snowfall.
