Bexhill Mayor welcomes local traders as they re-open
The Mayor welcomed the re-opening of businesses and shops in Little Common, Sidley and Bexhill this week by taking to the streets and greeting shoppers and business owners.
The Mayor was pleased to see so many establishments open and doing everything they can to make their shops and businesses as safe as possible for their customers.

Hide AdCommenting on the situation, Cllr Langlands said: “It is not going to be an easy road ahead for them, but they have taken up the gauntlet and as a community we need to support them.
“I was so impressed with their approach to customer safety, signage, sanitising, and general attention to all those who wanted to enter their store.
“On behalf of the people of Bexhill I would like to say a huge thank you to you all!”.
The week also saw the Mayor celebrating Sussex Day on a beautiful day in the Manor Barn gardens on June 16.

Hide AdThe Mayor reflected on the Sussex Charter, read by Past Mayor and committed Sussex Day supporter Paul Lendon, finding it extremely relevant to the situation we find ourselves in today.
