Party for care home's fifth anniversary
Elmcroft, in St Giles Close, is one of 12 services across West Sussex owned and operated by Shaw healthcare, which works in partnership with the county council to offer specialist services.
The home, which has 60 residents with dementia, held a celebration with guests including Adur Council chairman Mike Mendoza and East Worthing and Shoreham MP Tim Loughton, who enjoyed a full guided tour of the service.

Hide AdAll residents have their own single room with an en-suite shower room and the purpose-built service also offers communal areas and large secure gardens.
Care managers linked to the home and members of Adur East Lions Club also attended the celebration on Wednesday, September 18.
Kitchen staff made a celebration cake and finger buffet and a new DVD, produced by Shaw healthcare to explain dementia care, was shown.
Suzanne Hughes, Shaw’s director of care and operations presented a plaque to the home.

“It’s hard to believe we are celebrating our fifth anniversary, how time flies.”
She spent time speaking with residents and staff.
