Oxygen leak at Haywards Heath hospital
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath after a leak form a mass liquid oxygen storage tank.
The fire service was called just after 7am this morning (Monday, December 1) to the site on Lewes Road.
A spokeswoman said: “A safety cordon was put in place by WSF&RS. Valves isolated by and engineer from the British Oxygen Company.
“The incident was left with on site maintenance.”
Crews from Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill were called to the scene but left after 10am.
