The answer is simple – better. We would once again be a sovereign nation, able to make our own laws at Westminster without recourse to unelected commissioners in Brussels.
We would control our own borders, deciding who could come to our country and just as important have the ability to deport foreign criminals without interference from European courts.

We would free ourselves from the EU objective of a full-blooded political union, a United States of Europe. That is what “ever closer union” is all about, as the 1983 Solemn Declaration of European Union makes explicit.
If we were not members, would we consider wanting to join the EU with costs of £350 million a week - accounts which have not been signed off for more than 20 years, with open borders, huge expenses and an overbearing bureaucracy which restricts the UK’s ability to make its own laws and control our own borders? I do not believe so.
A vote to leave is a vote for freedom. We have the 5th largest economy in the world . The 4th largest defence capability. We are a member of Nato, and we have a seat at the top table of the United Nations.

I believe we could and would.
It is not a leap in the dark, but a step into the sunlight.
Have faith and confidence in our country.
