From: Dave CooperGilberts Drive, East Dean-
I note with interest that the A27 was closed on the morning of December 4 due to flooding.
I also note that it was reported that this was due to blocked drains. As an engineer I find this annoying as drains do not clear themselves and preventative maintenance could have avoided the situation and people would not have needed to suffer the frustration of diversions. I would welcome East Sussex County Council’s mitigation of their poor performance.
