This has become a popular event and this year the support has been extremely good. We are constantly reminded of the need to continue raising monies for the Poppy Appeal. Our volunteers have worked exceptionally hard and locally we have raised £11,400, contributing towards the national Poppy Appeal which is hoping to raise £37 million this year.’
