Opening up beach is a ferry good idea
I, too, would like to see it reinstated for residents and for visitors to Littlehampton.
In times of high fuel prices and the aim to become green, would it not be sensible for people to take the ferry across the river to walk their dogs, or just enjoy the fantastic open spaces of the west bank and West Beach?

Hide AdIt surely could become part of the overall tourist attactions such as the Look & Sea Centre or the proposed longest bench.
Littlehampton has a long history of seafaring, from shipbuilding to the ferry packet ships to France and yacht building – can we not continue this history with reinstating a ferry?
Why not use the natural resources around us? Why not continue and develop the local maritine expertise? I feel it needs promoting.
