Old codger moved to say ‘get a life’
This will stop the likes of Tesco, etc., dominating the market in Littlehampton and, in an area with high unemployment, I for one will not be press-ganged into shopping without a choice.

I wonder how many of them will shop at ASDA when it is up and running, after all, it will be right on their doorstep!
As for the A259 becoming a rat race at rush hour, I have never seen that before. You may get held up at the roundabouts at each end, but two minutes at the most,

Hide AdMy only concern would be not to put in traffic lights – they are renowned for causing hold-ups. The only logical answer is a new roundabout, which would also make it easier to get into ASDA and also the garden centre opposite, thus keeping the traffic flowing without the need to stop.
Ferring Parish Council chairman Carole Robertson states that every aspect of the plans causes a plethora of problems for the village. Once again, why? The access onto the A259 from the village is very easy to negotiate.
So I say to ASDA and Morrisons, “Bring it on, we need you”.
