This seems a less than ringing endorsement of the wishes expressed in the referendum and I trust that Sir Peter is not proposing to join those who wish to frustrate the result. The majority believe that the greater good is served by leaving the EU and working to achieve the maximum benefits of an independent UK for our children and grandchildren.
Whereas after a general election an elected MP may have considerable latitude in dealing with certain matters, the referendum was on a single issue which leaves no room for individual interpretation of the result.

I trust this will be forthcoming.
