Could anyone think of a better site for renovation and community use, with its imposing façade and central location? Councillors should not merely proceed to give it asset of community value (ACV) status, but prioritise its rescue at all costs, whether the answer is grants from the EU or a crowd-funded restoration.Too many buildings have been demolished or lost to the community, and regretted for years afterwards, and frankly, Lancing hasn’t got many to spare.
