It is vital to support local shops and other businesses
As a small town, Littlehampton relies on its local community to pull together.
As a shop assistant in the town centre, I am all too aware of this.

This takes valuable trade away from Littlehampton.
It's no good complaining about empty, boarded-up premises if we are in the habit of shopping elsewhere.
We should be proud of our town centre and the good facilities we already have, including a number of well-known stores, and many smaller shops that give a friendly, reliable service.
We have a good selection of shops, among them chemists, food stores, hardware, and pet supplies, clothing, newsagents, and bookshops.

Let's support our local shops and businesses, even if the prices are slightly higher.
The future prosperity of our town depends on our loyal support.
