Friends of Meadowside get set for competition
Tasks included litter picking, clearing of dead wood, cutting back of invasive tree suckers, pruning of intrusive brambles in the children’s play area and more litter picking!
The Riverside Walk entry begins at the meadow at the Eastern end of Storrington and follows the river through the town to Fryern Dell on the western side. A total distance of just over a mile. The meadow area is one of Storrington’s key conservation sites - the chalk stream hosting brown trout and water voles.
